EFFECTIVENESS OF CLAY KUTAI AND CEMENT WHITE AS OXIDIZING PATHOGENS MICROBIAL ON DOMESTIC WASTE
Abstract
Background : A domestic waste has an influence to the environmental health because domestic waste is a
major contributed to the body of water pollutants. The purpose of this study was to determine the ability of
clay Kutai for reducing microbial pathogens contained in domestic waste water, to below the specified
concentration effluent quality standard, to get an ideal dose of clay Kutai ideal concentration of the most
effective in reduced microbial pathogens.
Method : This research used experiments methode. 4 treatment formula with pure clay volume and also with
the addition of white cement; (4:0) 100 grams: 0 gram, (3:1) 75 grams: 25 grams, (2:2) 50 grams:50 grams, (1:3) 25 g: 75 g by taking the total concentration of Microbial Pathogens in domestic waste.
Result : Laboratory test results showed that compared to some formula treatment before treatment or control
seen in general there was a decrease, especially onclay FC formula: semen putih (3:1)and FD Clay: semen
putih(1:3)with test results Coli MP Naverage observation is 0. Formula is the most efficient FD formula
Clay: semen putih(1:3), with 100% degradation abilitymann-whitney test results look nodifferences
significant on FB treatment, with p= 0.028 and FD formula, p= 0.014, which demonstrated in both formulas
have significant differences compared to before treatment/control. The test results showed two differentformulas the most significant level of difference is the formula FD, Kruskal-Wallis test of all treatments in
formula FA, FB, FC and FD showed a significant difference to the decline MPN coli with p = 0.037.
Conclusion : Use of the absorption formula teroptimum Coli MPN media treatment kutai mixing clay and
white cement ratio clay concentration of 2.5 grams and 7.5 grams kutai white cement (ratio 1:3) in the
formula FD Required utilization analysis formula applied in the design of waste absorbent products with
efferensce capsule future in order to prepare the new technology in the absorption of waste
