dc.description.abstract | Background: Hypertension is a disease often found in Indonesia. The person is said to suffer from hypertension when the sista >140 mmHg and diastolik pressure >90 mmHg. In patients with hypertension it must undergo therapy by taking medication to control blood pressure so that not triggered complications from hypertension diesease. Controlling blood pressure is not only by maintaining food and drinks that increase blood pressure, but compliance in taking anti hypertension drugs is also very important to pay attention to patients. Objective: To find out the results of the patient's level of compliance in taking antihypertensive drugs. Methods: Quantitative research with a descriptive study design with aapproach cross sectional (cross-sectional). Sampling technique with consecutive sampling, as many as 78 samples. Measurement of variables using the MMAS-8 medication adherence questionnaire (Morisky Medication Adherence Scale), with criteria for hypertensive patients in early adulthood to late adulthood. Results: This study found that respondents with a high level of compliance were 64.1%, while a low level of compliance was 10,3%. Conclusion: Most of the respondents have high adherence to taking anti-hypertensive drugs. | en_US |
