The research was done in february - april 2019, The periphyton collected by randomly sampling at 4 observation station, and identified in the laboratory of water quality FPIK UNMUL. The results of the study, On the leaves of E . acoroides found 18 species, which consisted of six classes; bacillariophyceae, chlorophyceae, the cyanophyceae, euglenophyceae, dinophyceae, and crustaceans with a total abundance the average 3.047 cm2 /cells. On the leaves of T. Hemprichii, there are 14 species which consisted of four classes; bacillariophyceae, chlorophyceae, euglenophyceae and cyanophyceae with total abundance average 2.953 cells / cm2. The difference abundance of periphyton on both types of seagrass beds caused by differences in texture and size of seagrass leaves. The highest class of periphyton composition is bacillariophyceae, with the percentage of 77% on E. acoroides leaves and 80% on T. Hemprichii leaves. Value of diversity index of periphyton on the E . Acoroides leaves is 2,2792. Value of uniformity index is 0,8670, value of dominance index is 0,1386. On T. Hemprichii leaves, value of diversity Index of perifiton is 1,9420. Value of uniformity index is 0,8678 and value of dominance index is 0,1611. On the type of seagrass beds, E. Acoroides, seagrass density influential 5 % and on T. Hemprichii seagrass density beds influential 27 % of periphyton abundance.en_US
