The influence of the joint plane most affected the stability of a rockslope. The existence of these joint plane can become slip surface in a type of landslide so that the rock slope can movement. In this study, wedge failure analysis was carried out on a sandstone slope with a height of 20.57 meters and slope angle of 66˚ and there were 33 joints that intersect each other. The method was used in this research is field measurements use scanline method to measure the joints along the measuring tape. Stereographic analysis was carried out in this study to determined the number of sets of joint orientations and factor of safety analysis was carried out use analytical methods. The results of the analysis conducted at the research site, there were 33 joint plane with a total of 3 joint sets. Kinematics analysis using stereographic method shows that the potential rock slope failure that can occur is wedge failure. Stability analysis on sandstone rockslopes shows that the wedge failure safety factor is 15.79, in this case the sandstone rockslope can be conclude stable.en_US
