Pengayaan Artemia sp Menggunakan Vitamin C Terhadap Kelangsungan Hidup Dan Pertumbuhan Larva Ikan Gabus (Channa striata Bloch)

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of enriching Artemia sp. with different doses of vitamin C on survival, total length, body weight, condition factor, and weight-length correlation of Snakehead fish larval (Channa striata). In this study, the enrichment of Artemia sp. was set by using vitamin C in doses 0, 25, 50 and 75 mg / l with a time of enrichment for 12 hours. The fifteen days Snakehead fish larvae fed with enriched Artemia sp. by add-libitum way for fifteen days as the experimental period. At the end of the experiment, it was found that the Snakehead fish larvae fed enriched Artemia sp. at 75 mg / l vitamin C concentration gave the highest survival results (74%). But the result of the length and weight growth slower with of 0.81 cm and 0.050 g
