The measurements obtained E coli and Coliform MPN 9.2 X 104 on drainage around the settlement in Samarinda district East Kalimantan Province Indonesia appropriate so that the necessary technology to reduce microbial pathogen with activation utilization clay Kutai with manufacture of effervescent tablets. In this research measured level of efficiency reduction effervescent tablets of clay kutai against microbial pathogen in sewage or water waste. In this study seek. The measurements MPN coli and E coli on sewage, manufactured effervescent tablets of clay kutai, and analyze efficiency reduction effervescent tablets of clay kutai against MPN coli. Result of study shew that. The highest of reduction MPN coli is one formula with concentration clay 10 gr at 99.9%. Comparative effectiveness clay kutai all form include: such as powder with and without white cement and, effervescent tablets have high reduction rate of 99.99%. The use of effervescent tablets of clay Kutai in a laboratory test has high effectivity reduction of MPN coli even though without the addition of white cement and can be developed in the application of appropriate technology in order to reduce microbial pathogens in domestic waste in particular.
